City Manager Joyce Wilson went through what most of us have to do on a yearly basis yesterday - she had her employee evaluation.

But her evaluation this year was colored by snarky emails that were released by opponents of the Triple A ballpark in which Wilson said a couple of city reps seemd to suffer from dementia, and ballpark opponents were quote, "crazies". Mayor John Cook said the private emails factored into Wilson's evaluation, but wouldn't discuss her evaluation further because it was a personnel issue, and it was time to move on. I agree.

A Waterpark Could Be Coming To Northeast El Paso

Part of the fight over the recently passed Quality of Life bonds centered on Cohen Stadium and the Tiguas.

Some El Pasoans thought Cohen should have been renovated or torn down, and the new Triple A ballpark built on the northeast site.

That isn't going to happen, but something big might be coming to the Cohen Stadium site soon.

El Paso City Council Approves Electrified Fences For Businesses [VIDEO]

El Paso City Council approved a new ordinance that let's busineses use electrified fences to protect their property. Electric Guard Dog is a company that builds these types of fences, and City Council reps got the chance to see it's CEO demonstrate what type of shock a bad guy would get if he touched one of their fences.
