First Free El Paso Public Spray Park To Open At The End Of July
Sue Young Spray Park, the first spray park built by the City of El Paso, will officially open next Saturday, July 30, at 10 a.m. There will be a dedication ceremony followed by a celebration that will run through 2 p.m. and includes free games, music, food and other family-oriented activities.
The new spray park has a splash pad with amusement-park style water features and other amenities like shaded picnic units, security lighting, ADA accessible sidewalks and landscaping. The City is building eight spray parks in each district of the city.
