The ‘IT’ Frappuccino Will Make Your Tastebuds Float

I am a sucker for anything with a theme. Whether it is a party, a meal or a drink, if it is created after some pop culture icon I adore, I am going to buy it. The newest Starbucks exclusive frappuccino is a perfect example of this.

Horror fans are running to the nearest Starbucks to try the 'IT' inspired frappucino. No idea if this was created by the corporate people at Starbucks or a horror fan who just wanted to get creative. Either way, social media has ran with the gory drink and it is officially a viral drink, just like witches' brew, zombie frappe, and the dragon frappe. 

As you can see from the photos, strawberry puree plays the part of blood or red clown makeup in this mixture. You can create this sinfully delicious drink by asking your barista to give you a vanilla bean frappucino with strawberry puree. When I first approached the very sweet barista, she laughed at the idea and was happy to help. She also said she fell asleep during the remake of IT.

I felt a little dumb getting excited over basically a vanilla frappuccino, that is not an official IT: Chapter 2 creation. It didn't taste like a clown, or blood, just a basic vanilla frappe. I wish it did taste like cotton candy or ballons. Just so Starbucks could really deliver the flavor for the clown theme. Anyone who loves vanilla, strawberries and being a clown for fake horror-themed merch, this is your newest obsession.
