I am excited to be returning to my first love, radio! I am even more excited to be joining the 93.1 KISS FM family! I was born and raised in El Paso and I am a proud UTEP graduate. Growing up, I had a passion for music and singing. When I was younger my dream was to become the next Britney Spears. That dream didn’t last long but I knew I still wanted to entertain people so broadcasting was the next best thing! I began my broadcasting career in radio nearly seven years ago and then made the move to television news at KVIA-TV where I worked as a weekend weather anchor and general assignment reporter. While at KVIA, I created the on-air franchise, KVIA Sunday Funday Moments, which currently still airs every Sunday morning and evening. I am the founder and executive director of Mija, Yes you can. A local nonprofit organization that aims at uniting, encouraging and reminding women and young girls that an equal world is possible and I am a proud board member for The National Alliance on Mental Illness. Aside from being a UTEP grad, I am also a proud Montwood High and EPCC grad and I was most recently awarded Montwood High School’s 2021 Outstanding Alumnus and was recently named one of EPCC’s Hispanic Heritage Mentors by El Paso Community College’s Diversity and Inclusion program for my work within the community. However, my most important job is being a mom to my only son, Jacob who most recently called me "cool" because he found out that John Cena follows me on twitter. It's my biggest flex honestly. You can soon catch me and my mom jokes on your radio's every weekday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
