Mayan-Themed Lost Kingdom is Third City of El Paso Water Park to Open
The City of El Paso is opening the third of four regional water parks this weekend.
Lost Kingdom, the Mayan-themed water park in central El Paso, will open to the public on Father’s Day, Sunday June 20. Like Oasis and Camp Cohen that came before it, Lost Kingdom features a leisure pool, lap pool, kiddie pool, slides, water playground, lazy river, and climbing wall as well as cabanas and a cafe.
Located in the Bassett Place area at 6001 Hughey by the Ross Middle School baseball field, Lost Kingdom will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. More information about its daily operation can be found online at EPWaterParks.com.
The remaining water park – Chapoteo -- will be opening “later this month,” according to a city press release. Chapoteo is located at t 1225 Giles Road, adjacent to Lionel Forti park.
Camp Cohen
Location: former Cohen Stadium site in Northeast

Single Day Admission: $10 under 48", $12 GA
Oasis
Location: Eastside Regional Park (The Beast), near the intersection of Montana and Hueco Club Road
Theme: Resort-style retreat
Hours: Open daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Single Day Admission: $12 GA
Chapoteo
Location: Lower Valley, 1225 Giles Rd in the Mission Valley area
Theme: Fiesta, inspired by local culture
