February is the month of love, and in honor of Valentine’s Day, the International Museum of Art will be screening iconic romantic movies every Saturday this month.

This Saturday, you can watch and weep over ‘The Way We Were’. This movie stars Barbara Streisand and Robert Redford as Katie and Hubble, two star-crossed lovers from different worlds. She is a politically active Jewish girl from New York and he is the blonde-haired, blue-eyed Hubble that all the girls love.

Katie and Hubble struggle to stay together through her insecurities about the way she looks and his desire to live what she considers an easy life. You know Katie and Hubble love each other, but their outlook on life is just too different and not enough to save their love. If you can make it through this movie without crying a couple of times, then you are made of stone, my friend.

After you've watched this classic film, check out the classic venue. The International Museum of Art is breathtaking and, like the movie, it's free!
