Charcoaler to Close for Good after Today, Posts Official Goodbye

As announced earlier this month, Charcoaler Drive-in Restaurant will serve its last hamburger today (1/31/17) before closing for good.

The iconic drive-in hamburger joint on N. Mesa posted it's final goodbye on its Facebook page, thanking their loyal burger enthusiasts for all the "love and support" over the last half a century.

And they're not kidding about the two-hour wait time, either. Ever since they news of their closing went viral, the line of cars has stretched down Mesa daily, as illustrated in the El Paso Times video below:

Goodbye, Charcoaler. If Twitter is any indication, you will be missed.
