On Tuesday the city of El Paso is asking El Paso residents to participate in the community meeting to discuss a study that will include not only downtown El Paso but the UTEP Cincinnati area as well, what they're calling uptown El Paso.

There are not a lot of specifics about the meeting details, but it can be assumed that community residents will be asked for their thoughts and whether they would be willing to participate in a study of their neighborhood.b

The meeting will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 on the 17th floor of the Blue Flame building, 304 Texas Ave.

You can also participate online at elev8ep.com/downtown.

Let me know what you think about the ongoing revitalization of downtown El Paso and what you think "uptown" El Paso around the UTEP and Cinncinatti area could use as far as restaurants and venues are concerned at my email: nico@klaq.com
