Light Show, ‘Frozen’ Characters Highlight Free Holiday Celebration at Texas Tech El Paso
Fred Loya's home isn't the only place you can see a free holiday light show this week. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center will be lighting up the night too.
The medical school is holding the 2nd Annual Cookies, Cocoa and Holiday Cheer celebration at its El Paso campus on Thursday night, December 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Santa, characters from the movie Frozen (oh please let one of them be Olaf!), and a free holiday light show will highlight the night.
The light show, by the way, is produced by the same company that helps Fred Loya create his annual award-winning Christmas spectacle, so you know it'll be awesome and festive.
The evening’s festivities, which will take place on the TTU lawn between the Medical Education and Medical Sciences buildings, will also include free photo opportunities with Santa and the Frozen characters, carols sung by the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine student chorus, and free cookies and hot cocoa for everyone.
Feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs, and make sure your smartphone is fully charged and ready to capture the memories you'll make with the kids.
