Spend the next few Friday evenings watching movies under the stars on the campus of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

The free movie series Red Raider Reels returns this Friday, September 20, with a free showing of Toy Story 4. In this sequel Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy. His name is Forky, and he's a plastic fork with googly eyes, pipe cleaner arms, and Popsicle stick legs.

Spoiler Alert: He’s a Spork not a fork, so really, his name should have been Sporky. And, technically, a plastic utensil not a toy. Discuss.

For the next three Friday evenings, a different family-friendly flick will be screened on the lawn located between the Medical Education and Medical Science buildings beginning at 7 p.m., weather permitting. Bring your own blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, and drinks — except for alcohol, which is a no-no. Glass containers and pets are not allowed either.

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is located at 5001 El Paso Dr., next to UMC. Free parking available at the lot east of the lawn.
