New Scam Asks That You Pay A Fine For Missing Jury Duty

Scammers have found a new way to rip you off of your hard earned money with the missed jury duty scam.

This particular con is hot and prompting an epidemic of warnings from officials who warn against a call that claims you missed a jury duty date, then the caller will ask you to pay a fine over the phone.

Unfortunately, older people are more susceptible to getting defrauded because they believe they are doing the right thing and do not want to face any type of charges.

These scammers are getting savvier and the set ups are more sophisticated that you may just believe the call is authentic.

BE WARNED: These calls are of a fraudulent nature. You must know that in no way are the police ever going to call your home and tell you that you have a warrant out for your arrest and ask that you pay a fine over the phone or a court official for that matter.

Don’t get scammed and if you do receive a call of such nature, make sure you report it to the police.
