Local Rockers Plan 3 Day Benefit Show This Weekend

Thursday, Friday and Saturday; the east side rocks with the "Maile's Miracles" benefit concert!

The Rockhouse will be the the site of a 3 day benefit concert, in memory of Maile Rae who recently passed away after a tough fight. Before she left us, she saved 4 other peoples lives by donating her vital organs.

For her strength and selflessness, she is to be posthumously awarded a medal for bravery.  This weekend, all are invited to remember Maile and to celebrate life with some of the Borderlands best bands:

• Thursday: Blue Poet Souls, Black Jack, Ain't Dead Yet, Koma and Damocracy
• Friday: Handful Of Jake, MRB, Arsonkill, Cuervo, Revolt and Sacred Heart.
• Saturday: King Octopus, Triarchy, Full Volume, Flat Blak, XLD, Main Street, Fire & Ice and Texas Roadkill.

Comedians performing all 3 days are: Jerry "El Malkreado" Karnes, Beto Armenta, Omar Tarango, and Michael "Big Dady" Keener. Saturday will also feature Sam Butler. The lineup may change and other comedians and entertainers may be added. I'll be hosting, prizes will be given away and T-shirts will be available. Stop by one, two or all three nights to remember this brave young lady and help her mother and sister.
