The El Paso Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants has teamed up with the City of El Paso Environmental Services Department to help keep local children warm.

The public is encouraged to donate any new or gently used children’s coats, sizes small to extra-large. Please have used coats professionally cleaned.

The AGA is also partnering with Project Bravo for distribution of the winter gear. Project Bravo services approximately 40,000 people around the borderland, many of them living 125% below the national poverty level.

The AGA’s inaugural Children’s Coat Drive will have drop-off bins sprinkled around the Sun City just in time before the holiday season hits.

Drop-off bins can be found from now until November 27 at the following locations:

  • El Paso City Hall (300 N. Campbell St)
  • Environmental Services Department (7968 San Paulo Dr)
  • El Paso Police Department Headquarters (911 N. Raynor St)
  • El Paso Police Department-Northeast Command Center (9600 Dyer St)

Anything you can do will surely help a child in need and put a smile on their face. For more information, please contact Cynthia Delgado at (915) 621-6708.
