Hyundai Sun Bowl to Be Played on December 26 This Year

Get ready to watch this year's Sun Bowl just a couple of days after Christmas. The Sun Bowl Association says Saturday, Dec. 26th, at noon at Sun Bowl Stadium. Amazingly enough, this is only the fourth time the game has been played on December 26th in it's 82 year history. The last time this happened was in 1981.

Sun Bowl officials say that having a Saturday game will cap off the Christmas weekend, and will also provide the national CBS audience a great time slot to watch the game.

Tickets for the 2015 Hyundai Sun Bowl start at $22 and go up to $62. They will go on sale at a later date.
