Halloween week is here, and while you're getting the candy and costumes squared away, don't forget the most important detail of the day - do your kids have to wear a coat over their costume?

There is nothing worse than having the coolest costume ruined, RUINED MOM, by having to wear a heavy coat over it!  I know I was scarred for life when I was forced to wear a jacket over my Cinderella costume when I was in 2nd grade.  I've never gotten over it, never.

So, will the ghosties and goblins need to bundle up as they run through the neighborhood looking for mini Snickers and Hershey's bars?

Our news partners over at KVIA are forecasting a high of just 70 degrees this Thursday, and a low of 44 degrees, so I hate to say it, but a jacket might be in order.

No, no, no!  I just can't do it!  NO JACKETS OR COATS!!  I WON'T SPOIL HALLOWEEN FOR THE KIDDIES!!!!!!

Instead of putting a jacket over the costume, maybe a t-shirt or leggings UNDER the costume would be better, mom.  You know, because you don't want to scar your kid.  They might end up being a morning show dj and calling you out for wreaking their costume when they were in 2nd grade.

I'm just saying.
