If you want to cross ‘ghost hunt a haunted El Paso school’ off your Spooky Things I Want to Do before I Die bucket list, you have a chance to do just that at Ysleta High School.

On Saturday, October 26, the Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society will be giving the curious a chance to get a rare nighttime look inside the reportedly haunted Lower Valley school.

The two-hour long ghost walk will explore numerous locations in and around the school that the paranormal group has previously investigated and determined there's some freaky stuff going on there.

Bonnie Juarez, President of The Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society (Ghosts 915), said she and her crew spoke to school staff and students to find out first-hand where the majority of the sightings and activity was taking place, as well as the legend, lore, and history of the historic Trost building.

“We heard stories of apparitions appearing in the auditorium, library, and hallways. People have heard the sound of a horse galloping across the football field,” Juarez related to us. “This is the information we took and used to set up cameras and focus on when we investigated.”

Juarez said the evidence they collected was very compelling. “We caught motion, mist shapes on the stage of the auditorium, and activity in one classroom,” she added.

October's "Ysleta High School Halloween Homecoming Ghost Walk #4" will take you to those active locations where tales of the haunted history and ghostly alumni will be told. You'll learn what the group uncovered at each hotspot, and become the ghost hunter using the group's meters, sensors and other equipment.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online at the link below. Student tickets are available at the school for $10. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Ysleta High.
