If you are a veteran and live in El Paso you can qualify to ride Sun Metro for free with a 90-day bus pass or at a discounted rate.

Sun Metro is making it possible for qualified veterans to use public transportation for free by providing a 90-day bus pass and a one month discounted rate when they apply through non profit agencies.

How to apply:

• Veterans need to apply through their service agency or by calling Sun Metro 915-212-3338 or 915-212-3340 which will make available a list of agencies that can help them apply for the free Sun Metro services.

The program offered by Sun Metro is designed to help El Paso veterans use the free service to help them get around the city whether it is for employment, medical or personal travel needs.
