Sun Metro Increases Passenger Safeguards
Sun Metro continues to adapt and increase passenger safeguards to maintain COVID 19 safety measures.
As of today, April 13, 2020, Sun Metro asks that all passengers with mobility devices should consider scheduling rides via LIFT services as an added transportation option.
Sun Metro is doing everything possible to implement stricter security measures for the safety of passengers and operators to maintain social distancing amid the COVID 19 pandemic.
As per the CDC, residents should remain home but for those who must use public transportation for essential travel such as picking up medications, groceries or work can ride on both fixed routes and LIFT services for free. Fixed-route passengers with mobility devices are encouraged to schedule rides by contacting LIFT services.
