2016 Taste Of El Paso Preview — Crave Kitchen and Bar

Taste of El Paso is coming up on Thursday, November 10, at the downtown El Paso Convention Center. You can make your way through 12 amazing El Paso restaurants and taste samples from their menus that will be paired with craft beer or wine samples.

I love Taste of El Paso because I love to see what is on the menu of restaurants I haven't tried out, and always walk away finding at least a few wines that I enjoy and end up buying and drinking at home. I got the chance recently to try the samples that Crave Kitchen and Bar will be offering at Taste of El Paso. Their Shrimp Corn Dogs and Green Chili Mac and Cheese are something I am looking forward to trying again on Thursday night.

The Shrimp Corn Dogs are wonderful. What could be better than a jumbo shrimp? A jumbo shrimp in golden brown corn dog deliciousness, that's what. It is light and yummy and better than any corn dog you've ever had. The Chili Mac and Cheese is the perfect companion. Mac and cheese is already food hall-of-fame worthy, but the little extra kick of flavor it gets from chili is the perfect companion to it's cheesy goodness.
