Holiday Movies at the Plaza Theatre - The weather outside might not be all that frightful, but watching a Christmas movie in the historic Plaza Theatre will most certainly be delightful. Showtimes are 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. $2 per ticket each movie. More Details

Eastridge Neighborhood Christmas Lights – An El Paso Christmas tradition for more than 50 years. Around 60 of the East side subdivision residents adorn their homes and yards in lights and holiday displays. You can walk the neighborhood or drive through in your car. Lights go on beginning at sundown. FREE. More Details

Lights on the Lake at Ascarate Park – The revival of the years past tradition of lighting large Christmas structures along Ascarate Lake is back for a second year. Nightly from sundown to 8 p.m. at Ascarate Park, 6900 Delta. No entrance fee tonight.

Skate with Santa KISS-FM Night - Lace up, and hit the ice with Santa and the 93.1 KISS-FM crew inside the area’s largest and only indoor professional ice skating rink. 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Coliseum Events Center, 4100 E. Paisano. $8, $6 Military. More Details

El Paso Winterfest – The Arts Festival Plaza in Downtown El Paso has transformed into a Winter Wonderland with twinkling lights, a vendor Winter Village, Kringle Kafe (snacks and hot beverages), life-size snow globe, and an outdoor ice skating rink. 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. next to Plaza Theatre. San Elizario Posadas Celebration and Luminaria Lighting Festival - More than 5,000 luminarias will light up the San Elizario Historic District. Live music, Cultural Dance presentations, and a traditional Christmas Piñata ceremony will follow. 4:30 to 9 p.m. FREE. More Details
