Westside Cabo Joe’s Closes

If you were hoping to swing by the west side Cabo Joe’s near UTEP to watch a game, have a drink and eat some nachos l hope you have a Plan B.

Because Cabo Joe’s doesn’t exist there anymore.

According to published reports, the bar has been sold and when it opens its doors again, it won’t have a beach theme anymore. Word is the new owner is looking at doing something more along the lines of a craft brews kind of place with a different food menu. The building is currently being renovated and expected to open sometime in the next 30 days or so. No word yet on what the name of the new place will be.

The Cabo Joe's locations at 1700 N Zaragoza and I-10 East at Yarbrough remain open.
