Viva! El Paso has been around for decades, and it is a family tradition here in the Sun City. The production is a great way to get your feet wet in live theater. Auditions for this year's production of Viva! are being held nex weekend.

There will be two days of auditions, March 28 and 29. You'll need to check-in at 5:30 p.m. each day in the foyer of the EPCC Transmountain Campus Forum Theater. You'll need to be prepared to perform a two-minute acting monologue, as well as a one-minute music selection. You'll need to bring sheet music, an 8x10 black and white photo headshot, a performances and production resume, identification for work (photo ID, passport, work permit, Social Security card), and a list of school/work/production conflicts that might come up during the months of May through August.

Viva! rehearsals will begin May 2 at EPCC Transmountain from 6 - 9:30 p.m. The performances are on weekends from June 17 - August 7 in the McKelligon Canyon Ampitheatre. There will also be two Sunday evening shows on July 3 and August 7.

If you are interested in auditioning and need more information, call Artistic Director Keith Townsend at 637-4029, or email him at keitht@epcc.edu.
