UTEP Football Unveils New Uniforms for 2018 Season

After days of teasing their new uniforms over the last few days with close ups of their new stripes on the sleeves, the UTEP Football team Tweeted a 30-second video featuring Kahani Smith (orange), Kavika Johnson (white), and Kalon Beverly (blue) walking down the steps of the Mine Shaft. The Miners will be wearing three different versions of uniforms, including white, orange, and blue. They also have matching helmets to go along with their jerseys and pants.

UTEP's new look is featured on the website uniswag.com with a great photo layout of each jersey. The team has incorporated the new Tennessee orange into their uniforms and helmets for the 2018 season. The blue helmet is slightly different than the one they wore in 2016 and 2017. Instead of a silver outline, they switched to white with the new shade of orange. My personal favorite is their white combination and the uniform release will get fans even more excited for the start of UTEP football season on September 1st against Northern Arizona.
