Some people in El Paso are definitely fortunate they got to enjoy a ride on Wyler Aerial Tramway. I sure as hell feel lucky and thankful my ex surprised me with a trip up to the Franklin Mountains.

After living in El Paso for 37 years my first and final visit to Wyler Aerial Tramway was in 2018. Luckily, my visit was just a short while before the marvelous place shut down the tram ride up to the top of the mountain.

According to inspectors, the tram needed a significant amount of upgrades which meant permanently closing the tram for good.

I bet some El Pasoans are kicking themselves in the butt for not checking it out when they had a chance. Hell, I sure wish I could have visited more often than just that one time when it was open to the public.

If you didn't ever take a ride up the Wyler Aerial Tramway don't worry. Lucky for you, I was able to save some pictures I had taken on my one and only visit up top the Franklin Mountains.
