The University of El Paso is currently accepting applications for their free GED classes and testing.

This is a great opportunity for seasonal farm workers and their families to get their High School Equivalency Program /GED at UTEP.

The High School Equivalency Program is an academic program designed to meet the special needs of migrant and seasonal farm workers in pursuit of the High School Equivalency Certificate. The objective of the program is to assist these students in preparation and successful completion of HEC exams. HEP provides assistance for placement in universities, colleges, junior colleges, and vocational institutions, military services, other post-secondary activities or career positions and is funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

For those interested in applying for an application should call Nora Cuvelier at 915-747-5567.
