Join One Of El Paso’s Biggest Health Fairs: The Lower Valley Health Fair
One of El Paso’s largest health fairs is back for its 38th year and the community is invited to join the fun while checking in on their health!
The Lower Valley School Nurses Association will be hosting their 38th Annual Lower Valley Health Fair on Saturday, April 15th at Socorro High School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The health fair has had a positive impact on the community, with over 2,500 people visiting each year,” read a description on the event page.
The Lower Valley health fair is free and open to the public. Guests can enjoy over 50 vendors that will provide a variety of screenings and information for guests, free of charge.
Free health screenings provided include blood pressure, vision and hearing, glucose, and more.
Local health agencies will also provide free immunizations for the community. Guests that will get vaccines are asked to bring their immunization record/card.
The health fair is coordinated by SISD school nurses and will also feature family fun entertainment for kids of all ages.
Guests will be able to enjoy a fun walk, games, and learning opportunities as well.
Yours truly will be hosting the event and I am excited to join an event that will provide locals with the tools and information they need to continue living a health life!
So, come alone, bring your friends, or bring the family and support this non-profit event put on by some amazing nurses in the SISD community.
