Mexican authorities say three people were killed and three others sustained life-threatening injuries in a rollover crash in Juarez last week.

45-year-old Ysenia Guadalupe Meraz and her two children, ages 4 and 13, were passengers in an SUV that was traveling on the Pan-American when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll several times. Meraz and her children were thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. Three others suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.

Investigators say the family was on their way to Torreon. The crash remains under investigation.
