Teacher Receives Short Suspension After Grabbing Kindergarten Student by the Face
Parents of a 6-year-old Ohio kindergartener are outraged today after a teacher received only a 10-day suspension for grabbing their son by his face and slamming him against a wall.
Teacher Barb Williams is scene on a security camera grabbing the small boy, shoving him against the wall, and lifting him by his face to the point where the boy is on his tip-toes.
His parents, Anthony and Autumn Nelson, say they received a letter from the school administration about their son and the teacher's suspension, but when they were given the video, it was so disturbing, it brought the mother to tears. Now they want Riverside School in Ohio to terminate Williams.
