Surfs Up! In El Paso? Yup – Catch a Wave at Oasis Water Park
Surfs Up! In El Paso? Yup. Instead of heading west to Cali to ride a wave, you’ll only have to drive to The Beast on the far east side of town.
We have the sand and the dunes, and now we have waves, too. I’m talking “hanging ten” in the middle of the desert. Cowabunga, dude!
Oasis Water Park, one of four regional water parks the city plans to open this summer, is home to Flash Flood Rush. The surfing water attraction is the only one of its kind in all of West Texas and Southern New Mexico.
Along with the wave simulator, the largest of the city-run water parks has a meandering lazy river, climbing wall pool, slides, leisure pool, kiddie pool, cabanas and a café.
