Sun Metro Offering Free Summer Youth Ride Program

Kids can ride Sun Metro for free this summer in El Paso.

Sun Metro has once again teamed up to offer kids free rides this summer to qualifying youths beginning June 1, 2019.

The Kids on the Go! Summer Youth Transportation program makes it possible for kids to get to various summer camps across the city eliminating the worry of finding reliable transportation.

Now that kids are out of school for the summer, there are numerous free summer camps and programs that they can participate in and stay active throughout the summer.

Kids between the ages of 6 to 18 years who are enrolled in summer programs from non-profit agencies participating in this initiative are eligible for the free passes. For a complete list of participating agencies visit SunMetro Programs and Annual Events section. Children under the age of 12 will receive a distinguished pass to allow for a companion, over the age 12, to ride with the child free of charge. Children under the age of 5 always ride for free.

The Kids on the Go! Summer Youth Transportation program will be available June 1 through August 31, 2019.
