UPDATE 4/4/19: KISS-FM has learned Ryan Hurst has cancelled. The other celebrity guests mentioned in this article are still a go.

El Paso Comic Con returns to downtown this month with a television outlaw biker, a handful of Power Rangers, and a snake-wearing WWE Hall of Famer among the 2019 celebrity guests.

Ryan Hurst, who starred as the grim reaper patch-wearing Opie on the FX network drama series Sons of Anarchy, will be making an appearance during the 3-day comic book and sci-fi festival.

Hurst most recently appeared as Beta, the second-in-command of the mysterious group of hostile survivors known as The Whisperers, on the recently wrapped up 9th season of The Walking Dead.

Jake the Snake, known as much for his days wrestling in the old WWF as the live snakes he'd bring with him into the ring, and a handful of Power Rangers – both the original and Mighty Morphin variety -- will be coming to this year's event as well.

Along with the lineup of featured celebrity guests, a full schedule of cosplay and its stars, as well as comic book artists, writers, and vendors will make scheduled appearances.

El Paso Comi-Con is set for Friday, April 12, through Sunday, April 14 at the Convention Center downtown. Cool, that gives me time to get my Ewok outfit dry cleaned.
