There is nothing worse than going to a restaurant and having your meal disrupted by a screaming child. Most of us just sit there and fume in silence. One restaurant owner in Maine decided that after 45 minutes of a child screaming it's head off, she had had enough and yelled at the child to stop crying. The parents were furious and posted on the restaurant's Facebook page that the owner had lost it. Now the story has gone viral and a lot of people are coming to the defense of the restaurant owner.

Personally, I tend to side with the restaurant owner. I think she shouldn't have yelled at the kid, but the parents would have gotten a word or two from me if I was paying good money to sit there and be annoyed by their kid. Just because you are used to a caterwauling brat at home, doesn't mean the rest of us should have to deal with it, as well.

Use some common sense, people. If your kid is screaming, take them outside or go home. If you are the restaurant owner, calmly walk over to the table and inform the customers that they are disturbing everyone in the joint, and if they don't leave, they should expect a less civil request to get the heck out of there if the child continues to bother people.
