Fall in the El Paso and Las Cruces area is so much fun. You have corn mazes you can go to get pumpkins and go on a hay ride. There are haunted houses to go to and ghost tours in downtown El Paso, Concordia Cemetery, and the lower valley, and one of the things I look forward to the most is the Las Cruces Renaissance Fair.

This renaissance fair has been a fall staple in Las Cruces for almost 50 years. There are so many things to do. There are arts and crafts vendors, artists, live entertainment, the Children's Realm, food, and a beer and wine garden. For two days you can wander around Young Park, and during this time of the year the leaves are starting to turn and it is so Instagrammable.

We usually go on Saturday, stay the night in Cruces and then hit the fair for a second time before heading back to El Paso. It's a really fun way to get out of town for the weekend but not have to jump on a plane.
