Everything is Bigger In Texas: Big El Paso Fair Is Back

Ok, so you know it’s Spring in El Paso for many reasons. Some of those reasons being those annoying springtime winds, but I’m not here to focus on the negative reasons! For me, I know spring has arrived whenever the Big El Paso Fair is back in town!

I have a soft spot for this fair because it’s something my son and I love doing every year. However, the past few years he’s demoted me from his plus one to his Uber so he can enjoy the fair with his friends now! Hey, as long as he’s still being a kid it’s alright with me!

The Big El Paso Fair is back, and this year, it’s leveling up with ALL NEW RIDES 

From March 28th to April 13th, 2025, Ascarate Park will transform into a wonderland of adrenaline, mouthwatering fair food, and top-tier entertainment.

This isn’t your average fair. The Big El Paso Fair is rolling out brand-new rides that promise bigger drops, faster spins, and more heart-racing moments than ever before. Whether you're a daredevil craving high-speed coasters or a family looking for some classic carnival charm, there’s something for everyone.

Fair Food That’ll Ruin Your Diet or Make You Forget Your Diet

What’s a fair without deep-fried everything? Expect brand-new food vendors serving up iconic fair treats—think funnel cakes, turkey legs (my son’s favorite), and some crazy new creations you won’t find anywhere else.

Changes You Need to Know Before You Go

Before you rush to the fairgrounds, take note of a NEW policy. The updated bag policy. If you take a bag that does not follow the allowed bags, expect to walk back to your car to leave it there.

Allowed: Small non-clear bags (4.5” x 6.5”) or clear bags (12” x 6” x 12”).
Not Allowed: Backpacks, fanny packs, coolers, and basically anything bigger than your head.

REMINDER: You can get a pass to enter the fair and not have to ride any of the rides. However, if you want to ride these fair rides then purchase your entrance pass PLUS a Super Saver wrist band which lets you enjoy all the rides!
