Lifeguard Training Courses Available in El Paso

Learn how to become a lifeguard with the life-guard training courses being offered through the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department.

Learning how to swim is one thing but learning to become a lifeguard requires specific training and certification.

The lifeguard-training courses course will be available on November 18 to 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the O’Rourke Aquatic Center located at 901 N. Virginia.

Requirements:

• Cost for the lifeguard training costs $217 per person (discounts are available)
• Must be able to swim continuously for 300 yards
• Be able to tread water for two minutes and other guidelines
