Free Lifeguard Training Classes in El Paso

Summer is almost upon us and if you are interested, you could take these aquatics lifeguard certification classes for free.

Thanks to the Parks and Recreation Department, you can apply for any of their free lifeguard certification courses coming up in the month of March. If you are interested in these free courses you must first apply for the lifeguard jobs with the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department online HERE.

Class Schedule:

Saturday, March 3 & 10, and Sunday, March 4 & 11th

• This class is held during two weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, March 10, through Tuesday, March 13th

• This class is held during Spring Break from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday, March 14, through Saturday, March 17th

• This class is held during Spring Break from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All classes will take place at the O’Rourke Recreation Center located at 901 N. Virginia Street.
