Statistics indicate that 1 in 6 U.S. households don't know where their next meal is coming from, yet despite this staggering amount, we can work to lessen the numbers together.

The official kickoff to the Feds Feed Families Food Drive will be held at the Commissary in Fort Bliss next Wednesday at 11 a.m. With live music, free food sampling, and amazing giveaways, this will be a great event for the entire family to enjoy. In addition, everyone in attendance will automatically be entered for a chance to win a new grill, bicycles, and more!

The food drive will run from June 26-August 26, giving El Paso two months to collect as many non-perishable food donations as possible.

For more information about the Feds Feed Families food drive, contact the Fort Bliss Army Volunteer Corps at fortblissvolunteer@yahoo.com or call (915) 569-4227 ext. 6.
