El Pasoans Encouraged To Donate Clothing Items To Kelly Community Clothes Closet
If you plan on spending the start of this new year cleaning out your closet then I have the perfect place where you can donate work attire you no longer need.
Finding the perfect outfit for a job interview can sometimes be difficult, and The Kelly Center for Hunger Relief wants to relieve that extra stress for those in need.
The organization needs clothing for job interviews and employment and they are asking the El Paso community for donations.
“The Kelly Community Clothes Closet is seeking donations of new or gently used clothing for men and women. Men’s clothing, especially warm clothes, and coats are among the items most in need,” said organization officials.
The Kelly Community Clothes Closet is a free service provided by the Kelly Center for Hunger Relief. The Clothes Closet offers free new and used business and casual attire to people who are battling food insecurity and those needing proper clothing for jobs or job interviews.
Clothing can be dropped off at the Kelly Center for Hunger Relief which is located at 915 N. Florence St.
The Community Clothes Closet is open from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays or by appointment.
The Kelly Center for Hunger Relief offers a food pantry for emergency and supplemental food and the Fresh Start assistance program for those individuals determined to overcome food insecurity and build self-sufficient lives.
The Fresh Start program provides members with a variety of resources, including food, support, goal setting, job counseling, nutrition and health classes, computer skills, financial literacy, fitness classes, and more.
