As people across the country watched in horror, the town of Moore, Oklahoma was blown off the map by what is being called an EF4 tornado. If you would like to help by donating to relief efforts, keep reading...
Emergency and disaster crews have been frantically working through the night in hopes of finding survivors of the Plaza Towers Elementary School that was flattened by the tornado. At this time, at least 20 children are among the more than 90 people killed when the twister hit.
That death toll, sadly, is expected to climb. The best way for relief to get to the area is to donate to the Red Cross.
You can donate at RedCross.org or text REDCROSS to 9-0-9-9-9.
In addition, those looking for survivors of the deadly tornado can go to a special website set up by the Red Cross.
Survivors registered by the Red Cross are in a searchable database at www.safeandwell.org.
