Give Your Dad A Game Of Catch At Southwest University Park

Father's Day is right around the corner. Since you can't take your dad to the ballgame to watch the El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University ballpark, maybe you can take him for a game of catch at the ballpark instead.

The El Paso Chihuahuas are giving their fans a chance to give their dads a special gift for Father’s Day. The Father’s Day Catch on the Field is presented by Bank of America and will be held on Father's Day, Sunday, June 21. You can choose from two different sessions. There is one from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., and another scheduled from noon - 2 p.m.

You can get your tickets but you'll need to hurry. You can buy them through Sunday, June 14 for $25 per person. Included with the ticket is the one-hour opportunity to play catch on the field and a boxed lunch. If you buy your tickets on or after June 15, the price per ticket will go up to $30.

You will need to bring your own baseballs and gloves in order to prevent any transmission of the coronavirus and to help maintain the health and safety of guests and staff. The tickets are limited for the event. It is probably going to sell out so make sure you get your tickets as soon as possible.

You can go to epchihuahuas.com/tickets/special-offers. Once you get your tickets there will be follow-up information about the health and safety measures being taken for the event, and there will also be a waiver of liability which has to be completed by each participant.

The box lunch provided includes a hamburger or hot dog, packaged chips, a cookie, and can of soda or bottled water.
