NOW HIRING: This TX Minor League Baseball Team Is Looking For an Official Emcee!
Want to Be the Life of the Party? The El Paso Chihuahuas Need an On-Field Emcee for 2025!
Do you have the energy of a human hype machine and the stage presence to keep thousands of baseball fans entertained all season long? Well, the El Paso Chihuahuas are looking for YOU!
El Paso Chihuahuas fans may remember the legend that was Andy Imfeld. He was the Chihuahuas on-field emcee since the beginning and continued that role for 11 years until he announced he’d be leaving El Paso. While appearing on Sports Talk last August, Andy gave listeners the sad news that would be moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will be working for PNC Bank as an associate marketing lead for the Midwest regional team. As a result, it would mark the end of his time with the EP Chihuahuas baseball team.
THE EL PASO CHIHUAHUAS ARE LOOKING FOR A FRESH NEW FACE AND VOICE!
The team is officially searching for a high-energy, crowd-pumping On-Field Emcee to take over Southwest University Park in 2025. This isn't just a job—it's a chance to be the heartbeat of every home game, bringing the noise, the fun, and the unforgettable moments fans will talk about all season.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Hyping up the crowd during in-game promotions
Engaging fans from the dugouts to the nosebleeds
Working with corporate sponsors to execute on-field activations
⚾ Bringing your A-game to all 75 home games (yes, including midweek day games and playoffs!)
The Perfect Candidate:
✅ Has experience in public speaking, emceeing, or entertainment
✅ Knows baseball well enough to keep the energy flowing
✅ Can stand for long periods and hustle around the ballpark
✅ Is ready to bring BIG personality and even BIGGER energy
