El Paso Chihuahuas Home Opener: Freebies, Fireworks & More!
The days are longer, the weather is getting warmer AND BASEBALL IS BACK IN EL PASO, TEXAS!
The El Paso Chihuahuas are back and they’re coming in hot with an epic Opening Series presented by Mattress Firm! It all kicks off Friday, March 28 at Southwest University Park as our hometown heroes take on the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels affiliate).
Here’s Everything You Need To Know About This Weekends Games:
First pitch? 6:35 p.m. Be there or be the only one in El Paso missing out!
Friday, March 28 – Opening Night & Giveaways Galore
The first 3,000 fans through the gates will score a 2025 Chihuahuas Rally Towel (courtesy of Mattress Firm), because what’s baseball without dramatic towel-waving action? And before you leave, make sure to grab a 2025 Magnet Schedule (thanks to Southwest University) so you can plan your entire summer around Chihuahuas baseball. Pro tip: Arrive early! Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 29 – Fireworks & Baseball? Yes, Please!
Nothing screams baseball season like a Fireworks Spectacular! After the Chihuahuas take on the Bees, stick around for a sky-high show set to music. It’s the kind of night where you’ll want to have your phone ready for the ‘Gram.
Sunday, March 30 – Kids Take Over!
Sunday is all about the little MVPs! Gates open at 11 a.m., and the first 1,000 kids (12 and under) score a Chihuahuas Shirsey—aka, the coolest jersey-style tee they’ll wear all year. Plus, kids’ meals are just $5, and after the game, they can run the bases like the pros, thanks to The Hospitals of Providence.
