The El Paso Fire and Health department announces January dates for free medical services for senior citizens.

The program ‘Vaccinations for Health’ is teaming up with the El Paso Fire Department and the El Paso Health Department to provide free flu and pneumonia vaccines, blood pressure and glucose screenings and colorectal screening kits for seniors will continue through January with the following dates and locations:

  • Jan. 17: Station 12, 3801 Fort. Blvd.
  • Jan. 24: Station 14, 6300 Delta Dr.
  • Jan. 31: Station 26, 9418 North Loop Dr.

Residents of El Paso and Hudspeth Counties who are 50 years of age or older and either are on Medicaid or are not insured qualify. The services include a basic health screening, influenza/pneumonia vaccine and a colorectal cancer screening kit.

The service is FREE with the goal to increase the wellness of our senior citizens in our community who do not have access to these services.
