FBI Offering Up to $20,000 Reward in Las Cruces Church Explosions

Do you recognize this man? If so you could get a hefty reward from the FBI.

Investigators have been looking into the Sunday morning's explosion incidents at two churches in Las Cruces. The FBI is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man seen on surveillance near Calvary Baptist Church. The FBI is now offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that helps solve the case.

The man recorded on surveillance video was seen walking into and away from Calvary Baptist Church around the time of the explosion at this location last Sunday. Investigators are calling this man a person of interest, and anyone who can help identify the man is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).

Investigators believe the two explosive devices could have caused serious injury or even death if anyone was in the actual area of the explosion. Las Cruces police encourages residents to report any suspicious behavior within their workplace, church or any public or private area. Anyone who sees a suspicious package or device should immediately call (575) 526-0795 or 911 to report it.
