So, we decided to create that magic factory straight out of our dreams. Why fight it? We can talk about A Chocolate Affair being dignified, but some messy, childhood part of us still wants to dive head first into that vat of chocolate or dig our hands right into a mushroom cap filled with whipped cream.
We decided to shoot for both -- dignified so you can face your peers the next day and decadent so you can finally give that childhood version of yourself they only thing it's ever wanted.
Where is it going to be held?
It's on January 26 at the EPIC Railyard Events Center -- which by the way, is beautiful. We've got three separate rooms going on: Our "Pure Imagination" VIP Lounge, our Room of Wonderment, and of course, The Chocolate Factory.
Tickets start at $20 in advance.
So, I can just walk in and start eating chocolate?
Slow down, Augustus Gloop. Just like that magical movie chocolate factory, you're going to need a tour guide. We've got two sessions you can choose from
Session 1: 5-7 p.m.
Session 2: 8-10 p.m.
When you show up for your session, you'll get put into a tour group, and away you go! A new tour group moves every 20 minutes. Purchasing your tickets in advance will help you get the time you like.
You'll be given your own chocolate box, and you'll enter our maze filled with chocolatiers and specialty samples.
Well, where do I hang out until my tour starts?
That would be the Room of Wonderment! Inside, you'll find all of our vendors, dessert demonstrations, wine and music. There will be a wine and beer bar -- and by the way, full bottles of wine are available for purchase.
And what is all this about a VIP Lounge?
For $35, you can not only get access to all the whimsy of the event, but you'll also get access to the "Pure Imagination" VIP Lounge, which gets you complimentary wine (ages 21+ only), a commemorative wine glass, exclusive seating and treats, and a front-of-the-line pass to the tour.
You'll also get to choose when YOU want to tour. No waiting in line for you.
What do I do for parking?
Nothing. Nothing at all. Parking is FREE, and in fact, we'll have FREE VALET PARKING right at the entrance so you don't have to worry about hoofing it several blocks and forget where you parked! Seriously, if you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it!
Who's bringing the chocolate?
We've got some of El Paso's greatest chocolate specialists ready to bring you edible paradise:
Craze Yogurt Lounge
El Paso Cookie Inc.
Johnny Carino’s Italian Restaurant
Kern Place Florists
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Mesa Street Grill
Orange Peel Pastries, Cakes, & More
