El Paso Zoo’s Extended Hours Bring Evening Fun to Saturdays in July
If you’ve ever wondered what the El Paso Zoo animals do after hours, or if you just want to take a walk on the wild side when it’s a tad cooler and there's more shade, then Saturday nights in July are the nights for you.
Every Saturday this month, the El Paso Zoo & Botanical Gardens will stay open into the evening.

Lucky 7 Saturday Nights
Saturdays in July, instead of closing at 5 p.m. as it normally does on weekends the zoo will stay open until 8:00 p.m.
The "7" in Lucky 7 Saturday Nights is a reference to the admission, price of food specials, and the time tickets will be sold through.
The price to get in after 5 p.m. is $7, concessions will include $7 food specials, and tickets for the evening will be on sale until 7 p.m.
More Time Means More Fun
Some of what happens after hours includes live music and entertainment, and animal presentations. All the exhibits and attractions -- like the splash pad, tree house playground, train ride, ropes challenge, and carousel -- stay open into the evening.
Plus, the Lucha League will take residency at the zoo for all 4 Saturdays. The heroes and villains of Lucha League will rumble and tumble inside the ring beginning at 5 p.m. in the Wildlife Amphitheater.
Extended Saturday hours happens on July 8, 15, 22, and 29. Zoo memberships are honored on Lucky 7 Saturday Nights.
