My kids are always on their phones! My kids are always playing video games! I can never figure out something to do with my kids!

Do these sound familiar to you? If you have some little ones and you want to get them away from their phones and the tv, check out the El Paso Parks and Recreation Department Kidtona. Parks and Rec is accepting applications for the Kidtona Power Kar Race. The race will be on Saturday, March 9, at 9 a.m., at Marty Robbins Park, 11600 Vista Del Sol.

Parks and Rec officials say the race will feature an obstacle course designed for kiddos from 4 to 9 years old. You will have to register to participate. The deadline for participants to register is March 5. The registration cost per vehicle is $10. If you would like to be a vendor, you can rent a booth for $45. If you would like to be a food vendor, you can rent a booth for $65.

Kids can race their power wheel cars in the categories of non-modified, modified, super modified, and off-road. You can register at any community center.

The event is free and open to the public. If you need more information on any Parks and Rec event, you can go to their website by clicking here.
