The El Paso Museum of Art is thrilled to announce the first ever presentation of the Papel Chicano Dos: Works on Paper from the private collection of Cheech Marin.
Marin’s on loan collection includes works defining the Chicano identity, the Chicano Revolution and today’s Chicano art. Papel Chicano Dos: Works on Paper features works from Frank Romero, Carlos Almaraz, Glugio “Gronk” Nicandro, Benito Huerta, Diane Gamboa, Sonia Romero, and Sonia Fe. The exhibit will also include works by local El Paso teacher and artist Gaspar Enriquez, whose work is featured at the El Paso Museum of Art as well as Southwest University Park.
