The El Paso Museum of Art is offering free virtual art workshops that include, drawing, painting, and jewelry making.

Even though the El Paso Museum of Art is not open to the public due to the ongoing pandemic, El Pasoans can join in virtually to get hone their creative skills with one of the free online workshops.

The El Paso Museum of Art is showcasing a variety of free, online workshops on its website as part of the Art School Program.

The online workshops are led by different local artists and various types of art, such as jewelry making and oil painting. The interactive classes are open to people of all ages and the museum will also be posting downloadable activities for the whole family as part of the Virtual Family Guide.

 How It Works:

  • Participants can create their own art pieces from home
  • Each artist instructor describes the process step by step online
  • A list of materials is provided for each workshop
