Don’t miss singer-songwriter, Azul Barrientos, when she performs at the El Paso Museum of Art on Saturday, June 22, 2019.

When I first met Azul Barrientos it was as if one of the characters from the Disney animated film Coco had come to life. Azul is a Mexican folk singer and songwriter whose music is bridging old Mexican folk music with today’s generation. Barrientos is driven by her passion to help conserve and develop Mexican musical traditions that she grew up learning from her family.

Azul shared how she got her start, her inspiration and how she wound up becoming the resident artist at Esperanza Peace & Justice Center in San Antonio.

Azul Barrientos returns to El Paso performing at the El Paso Museum of Art as part of the museum's free Summer Sessions. Seating is limited so make sure you reserve your seat HERE.
